25 April, 2025, Chhattisgarh: PVR INOX, India’s largest and most premium cinema exhibitor, today announced the grand opening of its 5-screen multiplex at the newly inaugurated Zora Mall in Raipur – Chhattisgarh’s largest shopping and entertainment destination. In a landmark moment for the state, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, inaugurated both the mall and the multiplex, positioning Raipur as a rising epicentre of culture, lifestyle, and retail in Central India. This also marks the debut of Chhattisgarh’s first-ever PVR INOX Luxe, bringing a world-class cinematic experience to the heart of the state.

The new property is developed under PVR INOX’s innovative Franchise Owned Company Operated (FOCO) model – a strategic move to scale premium cinema formats in high-potential Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. The new multiplex features five state-of-the-art auditoriums – including four Mainstream screens and one Luxe screen, with a total capacity of 973 seats. Each Mainstream auditorium is themed in rich hues of green, blue, and gold, with fabric-finished sidewalls, cove lighting, and premium recliner seating in the last row, offering both visual variety and comfort. The Luxe auditorium features tan-coloured recliners, a distinctive panel design, and warm ambient lighting – bringing together elegance and ease in a thoughtfully curated space.

All auditoriums are equipped with the latest in cinema technology, including a BARCO 4K Laser Projector, Dolby Atmos sound in one auditorium and Dolby 7.1 surround sound in the others, and a Next Gen 3D System, ensuring a truly immersive and cutting-edge viewing experience.
