MOVIECLICKS COMPLETES API INTEGRATION WITH DISTRICT, ENABLING SEAMLESS TICKETING AND F&B BOOKING

Thrissur, Kerala, October, 2026: MovieClicks, the complete cinema theatre management platform from Integrated Redcherry Solutions, has successfully completed its API integration with District, enabling cinemas to offer seamless movie ticketing and F&B booking through the District platform. The integration supports real-time ticket booking as well as F&B booking, allowing customers to access both services seamlessly through District while the theatre operations continue to be managed through MovieClicks. The integration also supports dynamic pricing for movie tickets, enabling participating cinemas to implement flexible ticket pricing based on their business and programming requirements. The first successful implementation was completed at Girija Theatre, Thrissur, Kerala, a single-screen cinema powered by MovieClicks. With the integration in place, Girija Theatre now operates its own website while also being available on District for online ticketing, with both channels seamlessly connected to the theatre’s MovieClicks system. “Integrations like this help independent and regional cinemas access multiple digital ticketing channels without having to compromise their existing theatre management systems,” said Bony George, COO at Integrated Redcherry Solutions. MovieClicks is a complete theatre management solution covering ticketing, café and F&B management, F&B seat ordering, self-service kiosks for ticketing and F&B, digital signage, dynamic pricing, and head-office management. The platform has also recently introduced built-in Dynamic QR-based UPI payment collection at POS stations, giving cinemas an additional fast and convenient payment option for counter transactions. Following the successful first implementation, discussions are underway with additional cinema operators, with MovieClicks expecting to expand the District integration to 100+ screens by the end of 2026. The integration marks another step towards creating a connected cinema ecosystem where theatres can manage their operations from a single platform while offering audiences multiple digital channels for booking tickets and F&B.
