More than 4,000 passes had been redeemed for the AMC Theatres Election Night Event, featuring CNN’s Election Night in America coverage, and the early results show the “Blue” theatres holding a significant lead, with a nearly 3 to 1 RSVP advantage.
At 50 theatres in 25 major markets nationwide, guests reserved a spot at their election night party by choosing between AMC locations designated as “Blue” and “Red.” Doors open at 6:30 pm eastern time on Tuesday, Nov. 8, with the event officially beginning at 7 p.m. eastern time, 4 p.m. pacific, when the first polls closed. Ten AMC locations have already received more than 100 RSVPs.
There are still passes available at all locations, via invitation sent to all AMC Stubs members, and walk-up guests are welcome on election night, space permitting. A pass does not guarantee a seat, and those interested are encouraged to arrive early to guarantee their spot for this historic night to see CNN deliver winners and analysis of the Presidential race and other high-profile national, state and local elections on the big screen.
This AMC Stubs exclusive event is free to AMC Stubs members, who may bring up to two guests. Any AMC Stubs member is welcome to RSVP for either theatre in their market, regardless of political affiliation. AMC recently relaunched its AMC Stubs program, adding the free tier of AMC Stubs Insider to complement the premium AMC Stubs Premiere.
