Barco flagship laser projectors Barco flagship laser projectors are designed to deliver brilliant, contrast-rich and super-detailed images to large screens at 4K resolution in 2D and 3D. In combination with Barco Alchemy ICMP, Barco flagship laser projectors can display 4K content at 60 frames per second. Not only are they the brightest projector series on the market, the projectors are also simple to install, operate and maintain. Their laser light source uses 40% less power than xenon lamps and will produce constant illumination for 30,000 hours or more, while cutting operational costs and time by eliminating lamp replacement.

Differentiating their offering even further, Reel Cinemas also chose to invest in the Barco Escape Barco Escape immersive panoramic viewing format. Installed at the largest theatre at The Dubai Mall Cineplex, Barco Escape combines a 170-degree field of view with all of the vivacity and realism of Barco projection technology, giving moviegoers the most immersive, dazzling and realistic cinema experience yet.
Barco Escape utilizes Barco Alchemy processing to deliver up to 120 frames per second on each of three screens. Theatres can be built to accommodate the format or easily retrofitted to do so, and are capable of displaying regular movie formats when the Barco Escape setup is not in use.
