a Mexican cinema chain that takes the modern, high-tech movie theatre experience into smaller communities in Mexico – has committed to install 180 units of the company ‘ s SX-3000 Standalone Integrated Media Block (SX-3000 IMB) over the next three years. With the deployment of the industry-leading IMB, moviegoers can enjoy the highest quality of movie screening.
Cinemagic, the second largest independent exhibitor in Mexico,
has an aggressive expansion plan. Founded in 2005, it currently manages a total of 77 screens at 15 movie complexes throughout Mexico and has confirmed it will expand its footprint into the United States and Guatemala. The newly-purchased IMBs will be installed at Cinemagic’s new complexes in Mexico, Guatemala and the United States in three phases: they will be fitted in 60 individual theatres, across 10 locations, in each of the next three years. Cinemagic’s expansion will contribute significantly to its goal of delivering affordable, high-quality entertainment options for all moviegoers.
