Christie, a leader in creating and delivering the world’s best visual and audio experiences, was the exclusive projection partner of Big Cine Expo 2017 at the Chennai Trade Centre, August 8-9.
A Christie CP4220 DLP digital cinema projector, which delivers 4K resolution and 22,000 lumens of brightness, has been deployed for movie screenings throughout the event. In addition, Christie’s valued partner UFO Moviez India showcased a static display of the Christie 6P laser projector featuring two Christie CP42LH 3DLP 4K RGB laser projector heads at its booth located at Expo Hall 3, #105.

Christie was represented by Dr. Don Shaw, Senior Director, Cinema Sales, Christie Asia Pacific. As well, Shaw delivered a presentation titled “Illumination Options for Cinema” on August 9. The presentation focused on how Christie’s full suite of cinema projection solutions – which include xenon and laser illumination – can bring value to exhibitors and patrons, and deliver the best and most immersive cinematic experience.
