Regal Entertainment Group, a leading motion picture exhibitor owning and operating one of the largest theatre circuits in the United States, is celebrating the grand opening of Regal Hamilton Place 8 in Chattanooga, TN. Activities included preview events Monday, September 5, through Wednesday, September 7, with $3 movies, popcorn and soft drinks to benefit local charities. The official grand opening on Friday, September 9, with first-run features including Sully, The Wild Life and The Disappointments Room.

The preview events include recently released films with themed days where all proceeds benefit local community non-profits. During the three days of preview events, movies, small soft drinks and small popcorn will be $3 with proceeds benefiting The Kidney Foundation of the Greater Chattanooga Areaand The Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga.

Crown Club members received the ‘Regal Treatment’ by enjoying a free small popcorn and soft drink with each paid admission from Friday, September 9 through Thursday, September 15. Additionally, be among the first 100 guests at the theatre Friday-Sunday to receive a commemorative collector’s ticket to celebrate the grand opening. One lucky winner will receive the diamond ticket – which will upgrade them to Diamond Status in the Regal Crown Club program for a year.
Regal fans can access their card through their mobile device for easy access on-the go by downloading the Regal Movies app. Users can program their favourite theatre, gather movie information, select showtimes and purchase tickets.
